3rd Trimester Cardio Workout

Cardio looks a lot different in your third trimester! It doesn't take much to get your heart rate elevated, but we don't want it to stay too high for too long. Aim to be able to talk enough to still carry on a conversation during exercise.


Perform each exercise for 30-45 seconds for 4-6 rounds. Go at your own pace and modify as necessary. Slow down or stop for a few seconds if you feel like your heart rate is getting too high.


1. Side Shuffle with Calf Raise



2. Lunge Pulses



3. Side-lying Pushups



4. Leg Circles



5. Bird Dog to Child’s Pose




This third trimester is all about doing what feels good and staying mobile. Today’s workout is a great way to do that!
